Tennessee Midwives' Association is a state-wide organization of
Certified Professional Midwives, Certified Nurse Midwives, and their supporters
dedicated to safeguarding the independent practice of midwifery,
the apprenticeship model, and the right of parents to choose where
and with whom they give birth..

In addition to our meetings, TMA offers
continuing education, workshops and peer reviews.

We are privileged to share membership with fellow midwives who have been pioneers in the promotion of midwifery. They have elevated Tennessee’s reputation to a level of distinction and have impacted midwifery internationally.
